someone found the giraffe guy! (2019)
My college friend and roomate Joy had come to me one day after we graduated with a request to develop a video celebrating her viral vine hitting 10 million views on Youtube while also promoting her upcoming rap project. I came up with this idea to do a Mockumentary about who this giraffe person might be like. Most of the interview is composed of banter between us each playing a character- hers being the chillaxed “giraffe guy” who’s main passions in life are photobombing, driving for Lyft, and freestyle rapping about milk. I directed, shot, and edited this whole thing.The video was posted on the channel that the vine got popular on and it reached a relatively solid reaction on YouTube (right now at around 150,000 views and 6k likes). Most of the comments seem to believe the bit which makes me very happy that people out there believe a person like this could actually exist.
